Edward brings 25 years of Human Resources experience in a variety of industries including, for-profit education, call center, retail, and professional services, as a hands-on Senior Manager/Director/Department leader. Edward has specific expertise in employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, organizational efficiency, policy development/communication/interpretation, recruiting, employee training and development, process improvement, and compliance. Edward also has experience in start-up operations and building the HR function within fast growing companies with a geographically dispersed employee group of up to 3000 staff.
Most recently, Edward served as Manager of Employee Relations and Development for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Edward has written several articles which have been published in HR Magazine, a publication of SHRM. Edward holds a Master’s degree from West Virginia University in Industrial and Labor Relations and previously obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Fairmont State University.
