CIS Secure Achieves AS9100:2016 Rev. D Certification
Reinforcing its Quality Commitment to Defense and Intelligence Customers
ASHBURN, Va., October 13, 2026 – CIS Secure, a trusted provider of secure communication solutions and mission services, today announced that its quality management system has achieved the AS9100:2016 Rev. D certification. American Global Standards, a U.S.-based independent registrar, awarded the designation following an audit of the company’s Ashburn, Virginia, facilities. The scope covers: design, manufacture and assemble repackaged commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) computer and networking components for use in secure and non-secure communications environments.
AS9100 is the internationally recognized quality management standard for the aviation, space, and defense industries. It builds on ISO 9001 with additional requirements for product safety, configuration management, risk management, supplier oversight, and on-time delivery. Prime contractors and government program offices increasingly require AS9100 from the suppliers that support mission-critical systems.
