The Juniper Networks EX4300 of Ethernet switches with Virtual Chassis technology combines the carrier-class reliability of modular systems with the economics and flexibility of stackable platforms, delivering a high-performance, scalable solution for data center, campus and branch office environments.

The CIS Secure DTD-EX4300T-01-L1 is a TEMPEST modified version of the commercially available Juniper EX43000-32F-TAA (TAA compliant) 32-port, Layer 3 Ethernet Switch. The switch has four built-in uplink ports and a slot for installing an optional uplink module. The 32 built-in small form-factor pluggable (SFP) network ports support 1 Gigabit Ethernet SFP transceiver. The four built-in uplink are 10-Gigabit Ethernet small form-factor pluggable plus (SFP+) ports that can house either SFP or SFP+ transceivers. The DTD-EX4300T-01-L1 is designed with two quad small form-factor pluggable plus (QSFFP+) ports that can house 40-Gigabit QSFP+ transceivers on the rear side. The optional 8-port 10-Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ uplink module (model number: EX-UM-8X8SFP) can house eight SFP transceivers, eight SFP+ transceivers, or a combination of eight SFP and SFP+ transceivers.
